In business or in the workplace there are so many different people that you communicate with. Anyone you see, email, phone, Whatsapp, Skype, or otherwise come into contact with during the day is someone you have an influence over. Regardless of your job, role, or purpose.

Communication skills are what NLP is best known for, and you will be gaining so many tools that will help you to understand others. This will come from observing and actually listening to others. When you listen, you are listening more for how someone says something versus the story they are telling. Now, of course, listen to the story your client is telling you – but even more important is how they are telling you.

From the words, tonality, emphasis, and other non-verbal cues, you will be able to identify another person’s unconscious patterns of how they make sense of the world. This will give you more information to better communicate with them, or about them.
